NAPW Leadership Teams Lead to Success – Get Involved Today!

“A natural born leader.” Over the years, I’m sure you’ve heard this phrase as much as I have. No doubt when situations in business are going well, it is often an over-used phrase. However, I can tell you, from first-hand experience that leaders are made not born.

Leadership is an important skill. It is evolved over time. It is honed, refined and constantly improved upon. NAPW Leadership Teams prove this to me over and over again. I am always impressed at the level of cooperation, camaraderie and unflappable ability of NAPW Leadership Teams to step up, take action and use their leadership skill to the benefit of all NAPW members. I cannot reiterate enough that…

Local Chapters are successful with a cohesive Leadership Team because no one person can do it alone! And, the focus of a Local Chapter Leadership Team is on the word TEAM.

The success of professional women like Oprah Winfrey, Sheryl Sanderg, COO of Facebook, and Indra Nooyi, Chairperson and CEO of PepsiCo, did not happen overnight. They learned how to manage and lead over time, with the common aspect of finding a team they could rely on — a team that would understand everyone works for the greater good of the organization so that every person’s contribution leads to success for everyone!

NAPW Local Chapter Presidents must think the same way. They must adopt the philosophy of viewing their Local Chapters as small organizations they can grow, evolve and lead to great success, thereby making NAPW an even greater success for everyone!

Member involvement within Local Chapter Leadership Teams is a powerful way of connecting and having a more intimate experience among a core group of women working towards a common goal. With a goal of empowering women to great personal and professional achievement, from members all the way to Corporate, we must unite and lead our teams to a path of success.

Joining your Local Chapter Leadership Teams provides meaningful, important connections and experiences for everyone involved. Your professional leadership skills are improved, enhanced and put to the test. Your ability to step up, assess, take appropriate action and encourage the overall personal and professional growth of members can be a life-enhancing experience. Everything you learn, do and achieve proves your leadership skills and offers the necessary skill-enhancement you can use in your business or career. Offering your time to your Local Chapter ranges from the smallest task to a much more involved role, depending on what you are willing and able to contribute. I assure you that every contribution is highly valued and offers a unique perspective on working together and growing personally and professionally.

Since everyone’s individual skills are important and impact our Local Chapter success as a whole, your expertise and experience helps Local Chapter Presidents with specific tasks that might be out of their particular realm of knowledge or experience. Ultimately, each one of you could be the catalyst that propels your Chapter to the next level of success.

Speaking from years of experience as the NYC Chapter President, surrounding myself with a strong Leadership Team is a win-win situation for everyone! Each of my team members has strengths, experiences and expertise unique to them that when mixed together has taken the NYC Chapter to great success!

2015 is our Year of Power. And, it is the year of the power of Local Chapters. I urge all of you to get involved with your Local Chapter Leadership Team and take your Chapter to the next level of success. Please reach out to your Chapter President today!

Here’s to the power of you and our Local Chapter Leadership Teams!
